History

  • 2000
    EREVA, a company created in 1973 is taken over by Pascal METENIER. An annualization agreement is signed. The company’s activity is refocused on injected plastic parts.
  • 2001
    The Information Technology system of the company is upgraded (implementation of the network, new stations, ERP system and CAD software…)
    Caliplast joins the “Pool of Competences in Plasturgy” www.plasturgia.com.
    Implementation of a “Composite Materials” Department which worked until 2004.
  • 2002
    Sectoral (aeronautics, luxury) and geographic (Rhônes Alpes) diversification.
    Caliplast is ISO 9001 : 2000 certified.
  • 2003
    Kick off of the equipment upgrade (Demag 50T, Billion 320T with robot).
    Caliplast joins GIE Alliance Plasturgie group (first purchasing group for plasturgy in the West of France).
  • 2005
    Implementation of an assembly and packing shop (with a carton forming line and pallets stretch wrapping).
    Investments : Billion 90T and 140T Presses, 3D control arm.
  • 2006
    Creation of the integrated R & D Department (design of plastic parts and automation of processes).
    Release of our first patented product: empilis storage container.
    Investment in our largest press ( 800T) which was integrated as part of our first automated unit.
  • 2007-2008
    Investment : Billion 550T Press with robot.
    Implementation of our second automated unit for laser marking and visual control (on 90T press).
  • 2009_2010
    Kick off of the oyster breeding lanterns production for FTGC (subsidiary created in 2008 with the company France Turbot).
    Caliplast becomes a shareholder of GAP (Groupement Achats Plasturgie) which materialises the close relationship between Alliance Plasturgie and the G.M.B.
    First Carbon Balance Assessment performed.
    Caliplast is awarded the prize "Trophées Territoire Innovation Pays de Loire" in the Human Resources category.
  • 2011
    A profit-sharing scheme is signed.
    Investments : Billion 100T press, outdoor excavation to obtain a 2500 M2 additional storage area.
